Renewables UnWind and Vote Solar to Co-Host Washington, DC Networking Event at 2026 Community and Distributed Energy Summit

The Renewables UnWind event series announces a partnership with Vote Solar, a leading nonprofit solar energy advocacy organization working to build an equitable clean energy future. Vote Solar and Renewables UnWind will join forces to present this event as the Official Networking Event of the 2026 Community and Distributed Energy Summit being held by the Coalition for Community Solar Access (CCSA) on May 28-29 in Washington, DC. Each year, the Summit welcomes the industry’s most forward-thinking leaders working to accelerate the growth of distributed and community solar and storage markets. Participants at the Summit can expect to learn directly from the experts shaping the future of energy, gain valuable insights on policy, programs, and innovation, and connect with the peers, pioneers, and policymakers driving change.

The Official Networking Event will be an opportunity for renewable energy professionals attending the Summit to gather in a convivial environment hosted by Renewables Unwind while also highlighting the important policy work that Vote Solar does at the State and Federal level to advance clean energy. This will be the first ever Renewables UnWind event to take place in the nation’s capital, and will take place at the Cuba Libre Restaurant and Rum Bar from 7-10pm on Thursday, May 28. Tickets are free for registrants of the 2026 Community and Distributed Energy Summit and for industry professionals in the Washington, DC area.
